I can’t seem to find the right word to describe how much you’ve changed my life. I can definitely say that the relationship we shared gave me a whole different perspective about life and love itself. I’ve learned that love can take you to so many places and make you see things that you’ve never seen before. Just a simple four letter word yet so powerful. We both had no idea of what love can do, what we were getting ourselves into and the risks we were taking. We were both young. At the time, all that mattered is that whatever it was filled our hearts with nothing but happiness. I was high on love. The idea that nothing can ever go wrong and that there’s nothing that I can’t overcome as long as I had you by my side became an obsession. You became my world. I built the highest possible pedestal i can build and I placed you on top of it. You were my only if not my number one priority. It’s as if I cleared my mind of everything and everyone including myself. Without you, I felt like I had no reason for existence. Loving you took me on the craziest roller coaster ride. the loops were the loopiest and the drops were the steepest. Everytime my heart would drop, I always asked myself if I would still ride the same roller coaster knowing from the beginning all the negative effects that it can cause to my heart. But as i questioned myself, I realized that it was almost impossible for me to put everything to a sudden complete stop. i made the best out of what we had but i got sick of it. I wanted to get off but I couldn’t and i refused to. By then I had already hit rock bottom.I felt like it can put me at my lowest because it take me at my highest.I made stupid excuses of why the person that meant the world to me ended up being the reason why my heart was broken. I kept holding on to what was left of us not realizing that the only thing I was holding onto we’re MEMORIES from the past that can NEVER be brought back ………. TO BE CONTINUED.
